What is the Pocket Go device?
Tecno seeks to reimagine the concept of portable gaming devices, as it completely removed the traditional screen and replaced it with glasses to present the Pocket Go as an independent console that includes a 35-watt processor and runs on the Windows 11 system. It also includes a wireless controller and the company’s augmented reality technology, which is known as (AR). Pocket Vision), the company also designed the system to be compatible with other augmented reality glasses.
Specifications of the new Pocket Go gaming platform
Based on the Windows 11 operating system, the wireless controller features an Xbox controller-like design, with similar buttons and a D-Pad.
The Pocket Go is 50% smaller and 30% lighter compared to other portable Windows controllers like ASUS ROG Ally.
The device features an AMD Ryzen 7 8840 HS processor with a speed of 5.1 GHz, equipped with 16 GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of up to 1 TB.
The device includes a replaceable battery with a power of up to 50 watts, and there is also a heat dissipation system consisting of a cooling fan equipped with three copper heat pipes.
The Pocket Go controller can connect to other Tecno devices as a “Work Station”.
